Christine Williams received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Boston University College for the Arts, and her Masters in Fine Arts from Ohio University, both in Acting. She married, came back home to Texas, and began educating. She served in Pflugerville ISD, Leander ISD, Dripping Springs ISD, and was awarded a State of Texas Master teacher endowment at Highland Park, ISD. She is one of several distinguished Master teachers in the state of Texas.
She has accrued over 30 years of experience performing on Broadway, Off Broadway, and Regional theatre. She also extends her talent to commercial and animation voice over work, as well as episodic writing. She is excited to lead the Angleton Theatre department!
Lisa Chapa is the technical theatre teacher at Angleton High School. She grew up in Brazoria County and graduated with a BFA in technical theatre from Baylor University.
Some of her favorite theatre productions include creating the lighting design for The Seagull (Baylor) and Deathtrap (The Center for the Arts and Sciences), acting in As You Like It (Elizabethan Madrigal Feast) and The Lion in Winter (The Center), stage managing Eurydice (Baylor) and Beauty and the Beast (The Center), and doing the Technical Direction for Jekyll and Hyde (Clear Brook High School) and Trixie: Teen Detective (Teen Guild). Her most recent productions include directing The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane for Angleton High School’s UIL One-Act Play and creating the lighting design for The Sound of Music at The Center for the Arts and Sciences.
She has been a classroom teacher for 6 years but has been in education for 9 years. She has previously taught both high school theatre and junior high math. This is her 5th year teaching theatre and she is so excited to be working with the A-team.
